My Favourite Character

My favourite character is a man named Hino Eiji from a japanese series called Kamen/Masked Rider OOO. I like him as Hino Eiji is a man who is brave and one who will sacrifice anything to save people. When he fights monsters, also known as 'Greeds' and 'Yummy' which are born from human desires, he transforms into Masked Rider OOO. He even risked his life many times in order to save people! He really is a special person who desires to get stronger for the sake of being able to protect everyone.

In my opinion, we are similar in a way as we both desire to get stronger to protect our loved ones and we often risked our lives. However, we are also different from each other as I am powerless without the ability to transform and fight and he was very brave and valiant, not like me. >.<

Unseen Passage

In my opinion, unseen passages are hard to do if we do not read books frequently or if we do not understand the passage well. Whenever we need to answer questions about an unseen passage, we have to understand the passage first before attempting the questions. This is very important as it will help us to be able to answer the questions easily. Overall, I think that understanding the passage is very important and crucial so that we can answer the questions without much difficulty.

Romeo and Juliet Performances

To me, acting in a performance is not something that I am used to doing. It requires a lot of effort to make the performance successful and scoring high marks for it. I had faced many challenges. Firstly, memorizing the lines is hard as I easily forget. However, with more practices and more rehearsals, I could finally remember most of my lines.

Secondly, I am not used to acting in front of an audience. When I am in front of many people, I get nervous easily and I tend to forget what I was supposed to do. Even now, I still find it hard to not be nervous.

Overall, the most important requirement to make this performance successful is teamwork. If we cannot work well with each other, the performance will end up as a failure. However, I am confident that my group can do well as we can cooperate and communicate well with each other.

Macbeth :)

Macbeth is a play about betrayal, greed, murder and war. There are many scenes and chapters in the play, and many changes in power.... It is amazing that people can easily change or persuaded to do things because they are greedy and want more power, an example is Macbeth himself. The characters are amazing in many ways.

My favourite characters in Macbeth is the three witches. They are very good in persuading people with just words that they say. How I wish I could do the same... ^^ They are quite amazing witches that they can use words to persuade someone and they have a strong power, but in our time now, we dont need magic to do things. We can influence people if they believe in our words and in us.

From Macbeth, I learnt that we should not be to greedy about power and other things as it will cause bad things to us in the future. So, we should work hard to get what we want and we must be able to stop being greedy. It may seem to be great when we have a lot of power, but it will not be a benefit to us in the future. So, I should not be greedy or I will suffer and regret in the future.

Learning Log 3 I think ^.^

Yay. This week we summarised the Act 1 Scene 2 of Macbeth! It was hard to understand the original text as the words really confused me. Its funny how phrases were referred from animals. The lesson was great and very humorous. That is why I really love Literature lesson. ^^ The homework was tough as we needed to draw a comic strip.... All I tought of drawing was STICKMAN! It is the easiest to draw a stickman after all! ^^ Overall, the lesson was awesome and perfect. Im really looking forward to the next lesson! xD

My 'Prophecy'

Well well what do we have here? My Prophecy was told by a man wearing a singlet and shorts.... What happened was that I accidentally kicked a ball which was made up of rattan, which was made by that man. He looked shocked and also angry. He made a furious face and said, 'You will get injured and humiliated in public...' I walked away. In my mind, I just said 'Its not you but I who will choose my own fate...' While I was walking home at the 883 plaza, my slipper was spoiled and I fell on the ground. It was really very shameful. I quickly fixed my slippers and ran home. Overall, I think that was what I call a prediction, but I thinked it happened because I thought too much about it... ^^

Cinquain xD

Well well what do we have here? Cinquain~ During the lesson, I learnt how to say french numbers! But its hard to remember... ^^ Next is what we are supposed to write in a Cinquain. In the first line, we have to write a word that we want to talk about. I think it has to be a noun. The second line is for me to write 2 adjectives to describe it. The third line is to write 3 action verbs like 'running', 'jumping' and 'walking'. The fourth line is to write a sentence on the title. The fifth line is to write another word with the same meaning as the title. That is all for cinquain.

My comments and opinions on the lesson : It was a very fun lesson and I began to like writing poetry. The part on sharing what we wrote was fun, but it could be better and more fun. I actually did not like to write poetry, but after the lesson, I was very interested in writing one.
